About Megha
Megha Nancy Buttenheim, Kripalu senior teacher-trainer and national presenter, is the creator and founder of Let Your Yoga Dance: Grace in Motion®. Her focus is in healing body, mind and spirit through the joy of yogadance, meditation, and compassionate yoga. A lifelong singer, dancer and actress, Megha brings great passion, enthusiasm, and love to her work and to her students. She directs Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training, Kripalu YogaDance Teacher Training, and Intro to Yoga and Meditation at Kripalu Center, and Let Your Yoga Dance® Teacher Training and Moontides Yoga at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. Megha offers weekly classes in Let Your Yoga Dance for Parkinson's in western Massachusetts as well as on the road. In her work with YogaDance and Parkinson's she brings together people with Parkinson's and their caregivers to create a deeper understanding of living and moving gracefully with PD - through dancing yoga.
Lesley College has awarded Megha an MA in Yoga Dance and Expressive Movement.

Megha’s main focus is on healing body, mind, and spirit while treading as lightly on the planet. Her passion is to bring healing through joy to the earth and to the beings who dwell here. 10% of the proceeds of her CDs go to the following organizations dedicated to a better planet: Earth Justice, Sierra Club, Environmental Defense Fund, and Childrens' International. Finding ways to save the polar bears is of utmost importance. If you are of like mind and looking for ways to help, you might start by reading Derrick Jensen's great books about the planet and what the world community can do.
