Healing through Joy: Put pizazz in your Body!

About Megha

A lifelong dancer, actor, singer, Megha spent her life as an actress (primarily in Shakespeare) before completely redirecting her life when she discovered Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, Massachusetts in 1984.

Two decades later, along with leading programs throughout this continent and the world, Megha is a 24 year senior member faculty at Kripalu.  She has taught yoga, holistic health and yogadance programs and trainings and is the director of both Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training and Kripalu YogaDance Teacher Training (formerly called “DansKinetics”). Megha is also the founder of Let Your Yoga Dance: Grace in Motion® and teaches annually at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica.

In April 2008 she was a presenter at the Toronto Yoga Conference. In July 08 she was keynote speaker at the Durham Yoga Festival in northern England, while also presenting many workshops in yoga and Let Your Yoga Dance. Megha also teaches yoga and yogadance to people with Parkinson’s Disease for the Berkshire community in western Massachusetts and is teaching other yoga and yogadance teachers to offer similar classes in their cities and towns.

Megha loves to travel and bring LET YOUR YOGA DANCE to the world. If you would like to have LET YOUR YOGA DANCE or yoga and meditation workshops in your community, send an email to find the right date.

Megha’s main focus is on healing body, mind, and spirit while treading as lightly on the planet. Her passion is to bring healing through joy to the earth and to the beings who dwell here. 10% of the proceeds of her CDs go to the following organizations dedicated to a better planet: Earth Justice, Sierra Club, Environmental Defense Fund, and Childrens' International. Finding ways to save the polar bears is of utmost importance. If you are of like mind and looking for ways to help, you might start by reading Derrick Jensen's great books about the planet and what the world community can do.
