Chakra 2 Swadhistana
Water. Pelvis. Sacrum The Swadhistana - second chakra - represents water and fluidity internal watery state. Slow music with an ocean feel or blues feeling. We get “Down and Dirty” in the hips, while chanting: “I love my belly I love my butt!” This chakra experience in the Swadhistana is our not-so-subtle revolution to teach body love and acceptance. The majority of our students are in no way loving of their bellies, butts, legs, backs, feet, brains, or anything about themselves. The movements we offer in the second chakra bring them home again, home to their birthright of deep and true self-acceptance.
Remember: this chakra is also filled with slower, pulsing music. We are not moving fast yet. We are still warming up the body, feet, legs, and now adding hips and sacrum. Sending our thinking mind down into the mysterious dark of our ancient watery
