Visuddha: Throat, Self-expression and Exuberance. Visuddha the fifth chakra represents sound, truth. Its home is the throat. We are at the top of the rainbow now, the pinnacle of the class, and at our most wild and free. Can you get ‘em singing? If you don’t like to sing, you need to honor your truth (but of course, you might ask WHY you don’t like to sing. If you don’t like singing because you don’t like your voice, that’s not a good reason. Trust that all sound is cosmic sound. When you are fully expressed, sound comes naturally! Some wise folks once wrote, “In the beginning was the WORD!” That is SOUND!

Our Earth began with cosmic sound. So we sing to creation in the fifth chakra. Broadway tunes, more wild drumming, anything that fills your body, heart, and brain with freedom of expression! Fastest songs in the class: most wild, most fun!
