Ajna: the sixth chakra, represents space, light, intuition, and clear seeing. The rainbow arc starts pointing downward once again, leaving the wild realms and gently turning to a quiet, soft, delicate time of the class. Slow chanting is lovely here, or playing songs you love that are spirit-filled. This is a time to bring more obvious moving yoga back into the mix. Remember “Moving Metta?” Looking at one another in the circle and silently sending moving well-wishes to everyone: “May you be happy as I wish to be happy.”

Beautiful songs here: Anything by Linda Worster. Deva Premal. Snatam Kaur. Tina Malia. This is the Soul Health section of our class. We are transcending Mama Earth and going deeper within. We must have a strong container in order to do this. The five chakras that came before prepare us to dive freely inside to our souls. People may cry here because their souls are singing for joy. No story here. We are one in the spirit.
